Finance, Insurance and the Economy

Risk becomes financial when it is priced, insured, lent against or disclosed, and it becomes systemic when those positions move together. This subsite relates prudential, insurance, disclosure, payments and risk-finance standards to the hazard and exposure records they depend on; it never gives investment advice. Every artifact of these areas carries a UNI (Unique Nexus Identifier), which identifies and never certifies.

06Readiness

What GCRI Canada and the two institutions read here.

GCRI Canada evidence pathway

GCRI Canada

Financial and economic risk standards · GCRI Canada may admit exposure and indicator records with data vintages and revision history as research evidence on financial contagion; GCRI Canada decides under its own evidence and research rules, and no approval is implied.

Finance, insurance and capital markets · Loss, exposure and trigger series with record UNIs and correction history become readable as evidence for GCRI Canada systemic-risk research, which decides admissibility itself.

Banking · Exposure and lineage records linking loans to hazard and asset UNIs become readable as evidence for GCRI Canada systemic-risk research under its own rules.

12 more areas state what this pathway reads; each area page has its own line.

Open the GCRI Canada evidence pathway

Recognition pathway

The Global Risks Forum (GRF)

Financial and economic risk standards · GRF may record supervisors and institutions that adopt the risk-data records as a dialogue item; GRF decides under its own recognition rules, and no recognition or endorsement is implied.

Finance, insurance and capital markets · A financial programme that publishes its disclosure crosswalk and attestation history gives GRF a record trail to consider; nothing here is recognition.

Banking · A bank's published crosswalk and attestation history give GRF a record trail to consider; nothing is recognised by adoption.

12 more areas state what this pathway reads; each area page has its own line.

Open the Recognition pathway

Capital pathway

The Global Risks Alliance (GRA)

Financial and economic risk standards · GRA may use stress and exposure records with stated assumptions as inputs to its own capital-readiness assessment; GRA decides under its own capital-readiness rules, and no approval, rating or investment view is implied.

Finance, insurance and capital markets · This section is the main entry to the GRA pathway: projects and portfolios can present verified risk data, trigger provenance and disclosure crosswalks, and GRA alone decides capital readiness.

Banking · Green and resilience lending can present verified exposure data and data-lineage attestations to GRA, which alone decides capital readiness.

12 more areas state what this pathway reads; each area page has its own line.

Each institution decides under its own rules what it reads as evidence; no pathway is an approval, a readiness statement or investment advice.

13Questions

Questions and answers.

Is Finance, Insurance and the Economy a live subsite?
The owner created it in WordPress; its pages publish as drafts once the owner gives the go. The name is owner-confirmed.
Where do the areas come from?
From the area context bank, one PROPOSED entry per area written as an expert would brief a working group, sourced to published statistics and peer-reviewed references; the Nexus Standards lane owns the canonical registry.
Are any feeds live here?
No. Every feed reads pending admission until an owner decision admits it for public pages.
