Organisation-wide documents.
- 2.1 The main Terms and Conditions of GCRI Canada, Privacy Policy of GCRI Canada and Cookie Policy of GCRI Canada govern all the websites of GCRI Canada. The documents of this set add what is specific to the Reports sites.
Role of the publisher.
- 3.1 GCRI Canada (The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation) is the lead contracting organisation for the Nexus Consortium and its Foundry. It is the contracting party for the Nexus Consortium’s Foundry accounts, services and consortium participation in every country and region, and runs the service under a strict not-for-profit mandate. Another organisation, such as a national consortium host or a commercial licensor, is a party only where a separately executed agreement names it.
- 3.2 GCRI Canada leads the public-good Nexus Consortium as Lead Institution, Consortium Secretariat and lead contracting organisation. The Global Risks Forum (GRF) and the Global Risks Alliance (GRA) retain independent institutional mandates as consortium stewards. Technology, infrastructure and service providers act at arm’s length and have no control over institutional governance, research, publications, national priorities or customer, sovereign and community data.
Status of the Site.
- 4.1 An edition of Reports is not a government assessment, an official warning, a rating, a certification, investment advice, an underwriting decision, a procurement recommendation or an operational authorisation.
- 4.2 Nothing on the Site confers governmental or intergovernmental status, regulatory authority, privileges or immunities. Names of other organisations appear only to identify them and their documents; no affiliation or support is implied.
Independence and names.
- 5.1 GCRI Canada is not affiliated with, or supported by, any other organisation that uses a similar name, including the Global Catastrophic Risk Institute.
- 5.2 The Site is not issued, endorsed or sponsored by the United Nations, by any of its agencies or by any government, and the use of data from public bodies does not imply their endorsement. References to the World Bank Group, the International Monetary Fund and other international organisations identify them and their work and imply no endorsement or affiliation.
Notices.
- 6.1 Legal notices, rights requests and reports of unlawful content may be sent to the contact form. A notice should identify the material concerned, its address on the Site and the right or law relied on.
- 6.2 The publisher reviews a notice promptly, tells the sender what it has done and records the outcome. Where a notice is well founded, the material is removed, corrected or restricted.
