Publisher of record.
- 1.1 GCRI Canada is the publisher of record of Reports on every Reports site. Editions are deposited in the Reports community on Zenodo with a DOI, and the deposited version is the version of record.
- 1.2 GCRI Canada (The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation) is the lead contracting organisation for the Nexus Consortium and its Foundry. It is the contracting party for the Nexus Consortium’s Foundry accounts, services and consortium participation in every country and region, and runs the service under a strict not-for-profit mandate. Another organisation, such as a national consortium host or a commercial licensor, is a party only where a separately executed agreement names it.
Editorial independence.
- 2.1 No sponsor, funder, provider, member or contributor edits a finding or decides what an edition says. Funding and support are disclosed with the edition they relate to.
- 2.2 Editors and reviewers declare conflicts of interest and step aside from decisions where one exists. Reviews are signed and recorded with the edition.
- 2.3 An edition makes no political endorsement and no judgement of public figures, and never ranks countries or people.
Evidence and status.
- 3.1 Every number in an edition is sourced or labelled with its status, its time and its source. Gaps in evidence are stated, not filled.
- 3.2 An edition of Reports is not a government assessment, an official warning, a rating, a certification, investment advice, an underwriting decision, a procurement recommendation or an operational authorisation.
Corrections and retractions.
- 4.1 Anyone may report an error to the contact form with the edition, the finding identifier where there is one, and the evidence.
- 4.2 A report is acknowledged and triaged. An upheld correction is published as a correction notice and a new version of the edition on Zenodo; the earlier version stays available and is marked as superseded.
- 4.3 An edition or a finding that cannot stand is retracted with a retraction notice that states the reason. The record is kept, marked as retracted, and is not deleted.
AI-use disclosure.
- 5.1 AI assistance may be used for drafting, consistency checks, translation drafts and page composition. Every number, citation and status label is checked against its source by the editorial team.
- 5.2 No AI system is recorded as an author or a reviewer, and each edition states where AI assistance was used. See the AI-use Statement.
Licensing.
- 6.1 Reports material is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). Descriptive metadata is dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0.
- 6.2 External material, such as data, imagery and figures of other publishers, keeps its own licence, which is stated beside it.
- 6.3 Contributions are governed by the Contribution Terms; standards work by the Standards IP and Participation Policy.
